Topic:  Coolerado: The bumpy road to green gold

Come hear Coolerado executives tell the harrowing tale of the reality of getting a green enterprise off the ground and funded, as well as a demonstration of the company’s breakthrough technology. Coolerado, one of ColoradoBiz magazine’s “50 companies to watch 2010”, has enjoyed tremendous growth matched by equal challenges on the way to multi-million dollar sales and a successful professional funding event. But the story is not over as obstacles continue to mount and only time will tell if the ending is happy.

Speakers: Tony McDonald, VP/Sales and Dr. Prof. Valeriy Maisotsenko, inventor of the Maistosenko Cycle and co-founder of Coolerado.

He has been published over 200 times, and has authored and been issued more than 150 patents in the field of air conditioning and refrigeration. Dr. Maisotsenko and his family fled the Soviet Union to Denver, Colorado in 1992 where they have become naturalized U.S. citizens.

Tony McDonald - Tony’s experience includes 20 years of progressively responsible positions in sales, manufacturing, consulting, and finance. His favorite and most successful professional experiences involve “missionary marketing” of new products and services. Prior to joining Coolerado Tony was the highest performing business development officer at a national equity acquisition group, led marketing and product development initiatives for the nation’s largest wholesale agribusiness lender, and managed a $1B portfolio of operating businesses and assets in the technology, manufacturing, and power development industries for a regional investment group. A former consultant for “Big 4” firm KPMG, Tony received an M.B.A. degree from the Harvard Business School and a B.S. degree in Engineering and Economics from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y.
