Learn how PharmaJet, a local Denver startup, used creative financing to get where they are today. She will also describe their product and how they are working on future COVID-19 solutions.

Heather Callender-Potters 

Heather Callender-Potters is Co-Founder, Vice-Chairman and Chief Business Development Officer of PharmaJet, a needle-free jet injection technology focused on immunizations.  The original vision for the company, namely to contribute to world health through the elimination of needle-based risks and inefficiencies, is well advanced.  Partners on various initiatives include the World Health Organization, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and US government, among also large and small pharma and academic institutions.

Underlying Heather’s involvement with PharmaJet, she has more than 25 years of Private Equity fund management and international investment experience across multiple jurisdictions. Her experience started in 1991 when she moved to Poland to join the Enterprise Fund development, a concept created by President Bush, Sr. and the US Congress.  Investing over time three funds covering Central and Eastern Europe, she managed individual investments and financial investor consortiums, in early stage and growth companies, in a variety of industries.  Returning to the US in 2010 to focus on PharmaJet’s development, she has continued as an active board member and/or angel investor in companies who focus on making a profound impact in health.  

Heather enjoyed an international upbringing, which involved travelling, living and studying abroad, and hosting numerous international student and professional exchanges through her parents’ Rotary involvement. This led her to focus her education with international concentrations. Heather has a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Management from Claremont McKenna College and an MBA from Wharton, the University of Pennsylvania.
