Workplace Safety: COVID-19 Implications

This presentation will be an update on OSHA enforcement and regulatory activity in the last year, with a focus on OSHA’s response to COVID-19 in the workplace. This program will also discuss OSHA’s response to whistleblower complaints filed as a result of the pandemic.


Pat Miller

Pat has nearly two decades of experience assisting companies in developing and implementing workplace safety and health policies and programs, with a particular focus on OSHA- and MSHA-required policies. Patrick “Pat” Miller is a skilled practitioner, offering sophisticated advice to ensure compliance with federal and state safety regulations. Dana Svendsen

Dana is a highly skilled regulatory compliance and employment attorney with a practice emphasis in workplace safety and health. For nearly 15 years, Dana Svendsen has represented general industry, construction, and mining clients for matters including compliance issues, as well as policy, legislative, and regulatory concerns, involving the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA). Dana routinely handles OSHA and MSHA civil and criminal enforcement actions and whistleblower claims. She has extensive experience involving the Occupational Safety and Health Act, the Federal Mine Safety and Health Act, and other state and federal safety and health regulations.
